Meet Jerra

AUTHOR. editor. Blogger.

Jerra Latrice is a native of Gary, IN (yes, the hometown of Michael Jackson) and she currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Since a student in middle school, she has been gifted in writing. Her former sixth-grade English teacher, Ms. Faulkner (now Ms. Griffin), once proclaimed, “If you keep this writing up, one day, I’ll be reading one of your books!”

Throughout middle school, high school, and college, she has earned nothing less than ‘A’ letter grades on all written assignments. Because of her clear, descriptive, and impactful writing style, Jerra has been awarded several scholarships and recognition.

Her first book, ‘I Was Bitter, Now I’m Better’, is a relationship memoir based on her prior experiences with low self-esteem, being jaded, and having an extreme distrust in men. The author empowers women to heal, repair internal issues, take accountability, and make better decisions regarding relationships and dating. She is a life coach dedicated to helping single women heal, rebuild, and live powerful, purposeful lives.

Jerra Latrice is the Founder of Gifted with a Pen, LLC, where they provide proofreading, editing, ghostwriting services, and author consulting.

In her spare time, Jerra Latrice enjoys traveling, coaching women, reading, writing, decorating, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. EE-YIP!

Work with me

One thing I can say about this up and coming Author is her ability to hold up a double mirror. While she's looking in the mirror bettering herself she's challenging you to do the same. It's no easy thing to do but she's done it! Women around the world can now be confident in doing the same!
