Meet Jerra

AUTHOR. editor. ghostwriter.

For Jerra Latrice, writing has always been a natural gift. Matter of fact, her sixth-grade English teacher once proclaimed, "If you keep this writing up, one day, I'll be reading one of your books!" Eventually, her teacher's words came into fruition. (Jerra also earned nothing less than A's on all written assignments--even during college.)

She purchased a 'Birth Your Book' course from Tony Gaskins Academy and self-published her first book, 'I Was Bitter, Now I'm Better.' Since the release of her empowering and candid piece of art, she has been featured on several podcasts, radio interviews, spoken on panels, and was featured at The Essence Festival in New Orleans and Black Women's Expo in Atlanta.

After much success with her book, and helping others behind-the-scenes,  Jerra started Gifted With a Pen. She, along with her team provides expert editing and ghostwriting services to writers to enhance their manuscripts. As Proverbs 18:16 states, "A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men." Jerra Latrice and her team are truly gifted with a pen, and excited about serving future authors!

In her spare time, Jerra enjoys traveling, decorating, reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. Her next book will be released late 2021.

Work with me

One thing I can say about this up and coming Author is her ability to hold up a double mirror. While she's looking in the mirror bettering herself she's challenging you to do the same. It's no easy thing to do but she's done it! Women around the world can now be confident in doing the same!
